Your essential oils need to be stored in a cool dark place away from heat and light and tightly capped. Make sure to close your bottles well! The ideal temperature is 35-40 degrees. Are Bliss blends safe to diffuse around my pets?
Certain essential oils have been shown to not be ideal to diffuse near pets, but the the amount of those oils in each blend is very small. Our lead scientist has pets and diffuses the blends around them, but we recommend speaking to your veterinarian first before diffusing the blends into the air. If you decide to diffuse the oils after speaking with your vet, here are some tips to diffuse more safely around your pet: only use 3-4 drops in a water-based diffuser, diffuse for a shorter time, make sure your pet cannot knock over the diffuser, and diffuse in an open space where your pet can come and go.
I am pregnant, can I use Bliss Essential?
We don't see any contraindications for pregnant women to diffuse Bliss Essential oils for shorter intervals. In fact, many women love using essential oils during pregnancy especially for calm and sleep. We advise against using essential oils orally, and if used topically, dilute in a carrier oil. We suggest that you consult with your doctor before using essential oils while pregnant.
